Sharing the QR code on site
Updated July 23, 2026
Where to display it
- On the tables (on stands), at the coat check, at the bar: wherever people are waiting.
- On the screens, between segments.
- On the menu, the program, the badge, or the table card.
- At the exit, on a banner stand: that's when photos are on people's minds.
How big: at least 5 cm across for something held in hand, at least 20 cm for a display seen from reading distance, and more for a banner stand.
Always show the short code next to the QR. Some phones scan badly in low light, and an evening event is dark by definition. Guests can then type the 6-character code by hand on the home page.
One thing to remember: a QR code printed on a dark or busy background won't scan. Test it before you print in bulk.
Good to know: the event's address never changes, even if you edit its name, so your printed materials stay valid.
