Scan the QR code or type the code

With the QR code: open your phone's camera and point it at the code. A notification pops up, so tap it. On older phones, you may need a "QR code scanner" app.

With the 6-character code: go to the SHAREFT home page and type the code shown next to the QR (for example K7M2QX).

The code never uses confusing characters: no zero that looks like an O, no one that looks like an I. Upper- and lowercase don't matter.

If nothing happens, check that you're online, and try typing the code by hand instead of scanning.
