Choose which photos are public in your gallery

Updated July 27, 2026

By default, every processed photo appears in your event's public gallery. If your plan includes the selective gallery, you decide photo by photo which ones stay public — the rest become reachable only by the person who recognizes themselves through a selfie.

  1. Open your event, then the Photos section.
  2. Hover over a photo and click the eye icon.
  3. The photo leaves the public gallery; an amber outline marks that it stays reachable through facial recognition.

To switch everything at once, use “Show all in gallery” or “Hide all” above the grid.

Good to know — Selfie search is never filtered: a guest who recognizes themselves gets all of their photos, public and hidden alike. Only the public gallery is affected by this setting.

When to use it

  • Showcase gallery: a few photos open to everyone, the rest reserved for the people pictured.
  • Sensitive event: hide everything and allow access by selfie only.

This option depends on your plan. If the eye icon doesn't appear on your photos, your current plan doesn't include the selective gallery.
