Consent and biometric data: your role as organizer

What the platform handles
- An explicit, blocking consent screen before any selfie is sent: without a checked box, no search is possible.
- The automatic deletion of the selfie right after the search.
- No exposure whatsoever of raw biometric data or of a score.
- A dedicated public page explaining the processing, accessible from every event page.
What falls to you, as the organizer
- Informing your attendees, in your invitation or your terms, that a photo setup with facial-recognition search will be offered.
- Providing an alternative for those who decline: the open gallery, or direct delivery by the photographer.
- Checking your own obligations if you are a business or a public body subject to sector-specific regulation.
- The case of minors: the screen asks for a declaration of legal age but does not verify it. If your event welcomes minors, address this point in advance with your photographer and your counsel.

Warning: if your event takes place in a country whose regulations require local hosting of biometric data, flag it. A suitable setup exists, but it must be decided before the event.
